Welcome to the Robatzek Lab
Our research activities aim at understanding what mediates immunity and what causes disease in plants.
As many microbial pathogens colonize the space between plant cells, the plant cell plasma membrane is the primary interface in the interaction with microbes.
An emergent theme in the research area of plant-microbe interactions is the subcellular transport processes important for functioning of the plant immune system.
We aim at understanding what are the transported cargoes, where and when these are trafficked, how this is regulated and reprogrammed by pathogens. For more details, please see our Research activities.
